Riga Day 01

Miki's and My romantic summer-trip to the Eastern Europe is done!
As a professional photographer, Miki took actually thousands of photos,
so we both are making updates per day. Check Miki's photos and
stories from here
(She's way more spesific with whole thing than I am :D )

We flought by Air Baltic, that was supposed to be the cheapest traveling option to Riga, but because of the ridiclous baggage payments it wasn't the best choise after all.
Monika Centrum Hotel, location on Elizabetes street 21
Fancy but still quite cheap!~

Some of the (important) buildings were looking stunning and were kept in good shape ...
... when other buildings next to them (especially courtyards) were looking like slums.

Riga Cathedral in Old City

Local snacks (yes, Tucks-cookies are really exotic!)

Outfit of the day, number 1

Embassy of Finland was just around the corner, we sure felt safe :D

We tested Spice & Spice and Alfa-malls. Both ones had stores like Pull & Bear and Bershka, that aren't in Finland, but that's kind of all positive I can say. They didn't take much of the time.

Outfit of the day, number 2

We were super exhausted after the long first day so we had to get fat-ass snacks to our hotelroom for evening!
